National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists

The NSPH is a support organisation for therapists who have completed a recognised hypnotherapy training course. It is an independent society, administered by an Advisory Council, members of which are drawn from the general membership. The Council deals with insurance, advertising and promotion, coordination of Postgraduate training, grievance and disciplinary matters.

All NSPH members must abide by the Code of Conduct of the Society and any member found to be in breach of the Code will face disciplinary action.

Members who are practicing hypnotherapy are obliged to carry Professional Indemnity & public Liability Insurance with the option to incorporate up to several additional therapies in one policy.

The General Hypnotherapy Register
For the maintenance of good practice, the promotion of unity and the encouragement of continuing development within the profession of hypnotherapy. The aims of the register are monitored by the :

National Council of Psychotherapists
The NCP is a national association of therapists, mainly in private practice, to whom the public may confidently refer. Most schools of psychological thought are represented and a wide variety of therapeutic approaches are offered.

The Hypnotherapy Association
The Hypnotherapy Association is a non-profit making organisation and is one of the largest independent professional bodies in Britain representing hypnotherapists in active practice.
